Law of Attraction Article: Manifestation Exercise #3 – Give the Universe Its Own Task List

December 28th, 2009

The following is an exercise that I have learned from Abraham-Hicks. They refer to is as the Placemat Exercise. However, because I do my tasks list on my computer or in a notebook I started mentally calling it the Universe Task List and the name stuck with me.

In case you have never heard of Abraham-Hicks, Esther Hicks is a medium who has long acted as a channel for a nonphysical group of beings known as Abraham. While I know some of you may shy away from the word channel or medium, some of the inspiration they provide regarding using the Law of Attraction is the most enlightening I have ever come across, so I think it would be well worth your time to check them out.

In this case I believe the story goes that Esther Hicks was sitting in a diner one day with her husband talking about how overwhelmed she felt over all the tasks that she had to accomplish within the upcoming days. She received a message from Abraham to turn over the placemat that was sitting in front of her and draw a line down the middle of the paper and a line across the top so it resembled the letter t. She was to write Me on the left side and Universe on the right side.

Then on the left side of the paper she was to write down all of the things that she was inspired to accomplish that day. The ones she was ready and willing to take action on immediately. The tasks that felt right and clear to her.

On the right side of the paper she was to write down all of the things she wanted Universe to take care of for her. Things she wasn’t exactly clear on, felt any kind of resistance to doing, or items she hadn’t even figured how to start accomplishing yet.

The point of this exercise is to 1. Get yourself clear on exactly what it is you are wanting and 2. Allowing and knowing that it is going to happen.

For example, a hypothetical Universe Task List I would use for myself would be:

ME:

1.Write at least 2 fun articles today.

2. Meditate for 20 minutes.

3. Do my yoga.

4. Have lunch with my best friend

5. Respond to some of the emails I have received

6. Update my website with some new articles from other authors

All of the items above are tasks I feel good and inspired about accomplishing. I am happy and enthusiastic about doing them.

Now on the left side I write what I would like Universe to take care of. Items I am not “in the mood for” or “ready to deal with yet” such as:

UNIVERSE:

1. Find me an easy and pain free way to come up with the money to pay the car insurance next month

2. Send me inspiration to help me get clear on the information I want to include in my new ebook

3. Find me an easy and pain free way to get out of a social obligation I’d rather not attend (in your case be specific on what that engagement is)

4. Find the right person who will be able to fix the bug on my computer

5. Find me a simple solution to getting the garage cleaned out

It does not matter how many things you give the Universe (or your higher self, if you prefer) to do. Just know that you are not alone here. What you ask for you will receive.

So as you write out what you want Universe to accomplish, act and feel as if it is without a doubt, going to be taken care of. Feel as if you just handed this list to the most reliable Manager you have ever met and that you are so confident that these things are going to be done, that you do not even have to give them a second thought.

You will be thrilled and amazed at how this works!

For instance, let‘s go back to the example of the list I would give Universe to take care of.

1. Money for the car insurance. How would Universe handle it? Maybe my mother wins money in Atlantic City and she decides to share some with me and I also receive an unexpected check in the mail. Between the two of them – they more than cover the premium.

2. The inspiration for my new ebook. Universe urges me to make an unplanned stop at the library where I find a new book that just came in and I find it is exactly the subject I feel inspired to write about.

3. The engagement I didn’t want to attend. The people I was supposed to meet with call me and tell me something else came up and apologize because we will have to do it another time. No hurt feelings on either side.

4. My computer problem. I find out the guy who runs my yoga class also fixes computers on the side and charges less than half what a professional would. I find this out by simply chatting with the person next to me while doing my fun task of taking the yoga class in the first place.

5. My garage getting cleaned out. My niece has just gotten into selling on Ebay and offers to clean out my garage if she can sell and keep the profit on the items I know longer want to keep.

I can‘t tell you the thrill-chills you will get as you watch Universe work out these kind of “miracles” without any effort on your part.

Now there is one last step to this exercise. As Universe goes about its business and accomplishes each of these tasks for you, it is important that you acknowledge it, be grateful for it and encourage more.

Anytime the Universe easily handles one of my tasks and I have clapped my hands together gleefully (and yes, there have been many times I have literally clapped my hands together gleefully) I always follow up with a “Thank You Universe and more of that please!”

It helps you to take notice of “who” is responsible for helping you out and reinforces the belief that you really can depend on it for the future. Plus when you say “more of that please” and you start knowing it is really coming, you get more excited about handing over the next task and watching with wonder to see how Universe will work it out.

I’ll be honest, while I used to write out this list almost everyday, I now find myself doing it more often mentally. Now if something comes up that I don’t feel like dealing with, I’ll immediately throw it in Universe’s court. For instance, if the boss says I have to work late tonight I give an immediate mental “Yuck! Universe I’ll let you handle this one. I want to go home happily on time tonight.” Then I forget about it and watch as the Universe does its stuff and reminds the boss that his child has a recital tonight and we can’t work late after all.

But if you are just starting with this exercise, I would definitely do the physical list. It will give you a great feeling of relief as you write down the tough things you want “your manager” to deal with, so you can stay focused on the things that you are inspired to do today.

Law of Attraction Article – Manifestation Exercise 1 – the Gratitude List

December 27th, 2009

I guess it was about 10 years ago when I had hit one of the greatest “funks” in my lifetime.

It was right after Thanksgiving. My husband had been let go from his job because of an untrue rumor someone had spread about him, and we lost a major Christmas bonus we had been counting on. My online business was doing poorly because people were saving their money for holiday purchases. We were behind in all of our bills, creditors were calling constantly and of coarse Christmas was on its way and we didn’t have an extra dollar to spend on it. My husband and I were taking the stress we were both going through out on each other, and the guilt we felt over our sons growing Christmas list made us feel even worse.

It was about this time that I came across the Gratitude List suggestion.

I had already been studying the Law of Attraction principles for quite some time, but hadn’t quite mastered it yet. I was still at a point where my current “reality” problems took up more of my thoughts than the new reality I wanted to focus on. I had learned, however, about synchronicity (the coincidences Universe or your higher self keeps bringing to you when it really wants you to notice something.)

In one weeks time I had come across the Gratitude list idea in three different places. In an online article, in a book I was reading and then I heard it on television.

Anyway I got the hint. Obviously, this was something I was supposed to do.

Like I said, this was a really bad time for me. So trying to focus on good things at this point was extremely difficult. But then I figured who am I to argue with what the Universe was clearly trying to tell me? I decided to follow some of the examples I had heard in the three places mentioned above; and regardless of my current circumstances at the time, tried to look for things to be grateful for.

It seemed tough at first. My negative thoughts kept trying to come through – but I was determined. I would find even the smallest things to be grateful for.

I found it to be much easier than I ever thought it could be.

While I can’t find my original list (I believe it was on my old computer) I do remember most of what I wrote those first couple of days.

Things I Am Grateful For:

I am grateful I am alive today to give this life thing another shot (that is still one of my favorites)I am grateful I am healthy and pain freeI am grateful I have my freedom (I mean I could’ve been in jail or a hospital bed – so things weren’t that bad)I am grateful for my healthy family and friends.Even though I don’t have a lot of money right now- I am grateful I will spend the holidays with all of my friends and family. It was my favorite time of year.I am grateful that we live in a nice, safe, clean apartment.I am grateful we have enough money to eat today.I am grateful that while behind in my utilities, I still have my heat and electricity and cable today.I am grateful for my clean water to drink and shower with (think how many people in the world don’t have even those basic things)I am grateful for my pets who love me so muchI am grateful for the funny emails my friends who care about me send to me.I am grateful for this computer to receive them on.I am grateful for the internet that brings me all the answers I want in less than 5 minutes time (remember how long it used to take just to try to find information before the internet?)

Anyway I came up with a bunch of other things in those first few days. I would spend my first 15 minutes of the morning with my cup of coffee typing out my list.

While at first I was just going through the motions I found I did feel a little better each morning after I was done. What was more surprising to me however, was the lasting effects it was having without my even being aware of it.

Around the third day, I remember waking up feeling “lighter“ somehow. Before I started my lists I had been waking every morning with a knot in my stomach and a feeling of dread about all of the things I was going to have to unwillingly deal with that day. By the third day however, I found myself waking feeling a little calmer. A little happier. A little bit more confident that I could deal with whatever came my way, even though none of my outside circumstances had changed yet.

Seeing as that I wasn’t doing anything different other than my grateful list I realized that it had to be the reason. This got me excited and I decided to really go to town on my list.

I started looking for even the smallest things to be grateful for.

The laugh I had the day before hearing a funny story. An unexpected gift from a neighbor. My mom’s chocolate chip cookies Decorating my apartment with my well loved holiday decorations that I kept in storage (and it didn’t cost me a cent). The wonderful cards arriving in the mail from my friends and family with pictures of their healthy growing children. The holiday decorations going up around the neighborhood making everything more festive.

Sure enough I found the more I did the list every day, the better I felt right after I did it as well as generally throughout the day. I also found myself taking note of little things to be grateful for all day long so I could add them to the next mornings list.

With Law of Attraction being what it is, sure enough my outside circumstances started to change as well. My husband found another job through an unexpected connection, we received a check from his old company from an account that we had forgotten he had, my mother surprised us by purchasing almost all of the items on my sons Christmas list as a gift to us and I found myself having one of the warmest Christmas’ I could ever remembering having. Simply because for the first time I truly appreciated all that I had.

If you want to attract wonderful things into your life, one of the fastest ways to do it is to start being grateful for what you have right now. And I don’t mean by just giving it lip service. I mean really feel the gratefulness as you write your list. Truly imagine what it would be like to not have so many of those things you take for granted in your life.

The Law of Attraction brings to you what you focus on, think about and the vibrational frequency you are working from. If you are spending your time thinking about all of the wonderful things you can be happy about – the universe will naturally respond to that vibration and bring you even more.

It is a simple 15 minute exercise that costs you nothing but can make an incredible difference in your entire life!

So start today! You have absolutely nothing to lose but everything to gain!

How To Make A Miracle Happen With The Law Of Attraction

December 27th, 2009

Since I was a child, I always wanted to know how to make a miracle happen.  I asked my parents, my teachers, and my priest: “How can I create miracles?” and they didn’t know.  I had to wait many years before I was exposed to books explaining the law of attraction.  This is a brief summary of the process to manifest desires.

Every thought I have is sent out to the Universe like a radio wave from an antenna.  Somewhere, somehow, something picks up the wave signal and turns it to reality.  That is the core basics to make miracles.  It can also be summed up like this: “Ask and you shall receive” Of course there is a lot more than positive thinking to this like: increase the power of the signal (your level of energy), avoid sending opposite signals (focus on only one thing) and a few more things.

Can you figure out what picks up the signal and how this power manifests your desires? I don’t know either and it is not part of my quest.  At this moment of my life, my quest is only to send a clear signal. I just name this power God.  You can name it The Universe or whatever you feel comfortable with.

Many women turn on the ignition of their car and press the gas pedal to move from point A to B.  Do they all know exactly what is going on under the hood?  Does it prevent them to drive the car?  I think you got my point.

The knowledge to create miracles is available in many forms like books, DVD, seminars…  Most spiritual teachers spread the same info.  They just have a different approach and some unique fine tuning to the method you need to make your own miracle.  This is great because we all come from a different background or mindset. You just need to find out what best suits you!

Do Animals Use The Law Of Attraction?

December 16th, 2009

There is truly a great array of wonderful and interesting animals on our planet. Many animals have abilities we as humans do not have. From the tiny humming bird to the largest mammals, there is a lot to learn for us. All of these remarkable species of animals are sharing the same planet with us. We are living in the same home with them so to speak.
We know that the whole universe is moving and living by the natural laws of the universe. So here is the question, do animals use the law of attraction?
All of us have heard many stories of dogs for example who found their way back home over hundreds of miles. The same is said of cats. How are these loving pets able to find back home.
For many years we have called this ability in these animals instinct. What is instinct? Could instinct be really the law of attraction?
When observing migrating birds we are surely amazed at the ability of even the smallest migrating birds to find their homes back thousands and thousands of miles with such an accuracy.
Many have wondered about such admiring abilities. We know that everything in this universe moves and lives by the law of attraction.
It may just be more than instinct in animals that enables them to do great things. It no doubt all has to do with the universal laws. The law of attraction works well for human being, could it be at the root why animals do such amazing things?
Have you ever wondered about why bats can live their whole life without seeing so well?
We know that they use sonar. Maybe too they have learned to harness the power of the law of attraction.
How do the salmons find their way to the same breeding grounds for thousands of years? Is it simply “instinct?” Is there not more to it?
You no doubt want to learn more about the law of attraction and how it works. Did you know that even many of the ancient cultures knew about the power of the law of attraction?
This knowledge is not only fascinating but with this knowledge you can make some big changes in your life.
When you meditate and learn about the mind puzzling abilities of even the smallest creatures on this planet it makes you wonder. How well do you think all these creatures may use the law of attraction?
What do you think: Is it instinct or could it be the great power of the law of attraction?

Find The Secrets Of Law Of Attraction

December 8th, 2009

It is believed that like things tend to attract like. This would then imply that people who possess negative aspects will tend to attract the negative that surrounds them. But this is not necessarily true. The law of attraction is considered as being an important universal law that tends to govern the universe based on attraction of things towards our lives.Well known personalities in the world have been quoted on saying that this law of attraction is the secret to life. In other words, it is actually the power that curves your destiny. The fact that it neutral and it can never be influenced makes this law work easily.Even though we may not be aware, this very law is always in action in everyone’s daily life. The fact is that you can actually learn on how to apply this law of attraction through positive thinking and then notice the difference. By finding ways of applying this law, you can raise your general self esteem. Create the desire: It all starts with your mindset. You have to set a clear, deliberate desire for something and be excited about it. Combine this with the faith that indeed you will have it. Ensure that your emotions are at par. That is to say; you can’t have negative feelings and disbelief about what you desire. This vibration of positive feelings towards your desire is a sign that you are committed and ready to get it. They say actions speak louder than words and how true this is! Accompany your positive thought with action. Our actions reflect our thoughts; in other words, we act on what we think. You don’t dream of getting wealthy without doing anything about it, remember? By focusing on how to attain that which you want, you are pushing away any resistance or barriers that may stop you from doing just that.Focus on how to attain what you want and push aside resistance or other barriers that may hinder you from doing what you want. The law of attraction can be applied in changing fears, doubts or failures into success, health, wealth and a good lifestyle. This will help you to balance your life and define your future. This means you will have some great virtues in life and achievements. Many will want to associate with you and some will see you as their mentor. You will be happier and feel more fulfilled through learning how to apply the law of attraction effectively.

The Law Of Attraction 3-Step Formula In Action

December 6th, 2009

The Law of Attraction is the Universal Law governing creation. It says that we attract what we think about. The thoughts we think give rise to the physical reality we experience. Once we know this, we can start to take conscious steps towards creating a reality that we like much better than our present one – 3 steps, to be precise. In this post, we will explore Step 1: Asking for What You Want.
The Law of Attraction, Step 1 of 3: Ask
In order to get what you want you have to know what you want. If you don’t know what you want then you get, by default, whatever you think about. And more specifically, whatever you keep thinking about, over and over again.
The more we think the same thoughts, “Life stinks” or “I hate my job” or “Same stuff, different day”, the more we reinforce and perpetuate the realities we create, in the cases of the previous examples: a stinky life, a job worth hating, and a day like any other.
But if you want something different and you know what that is, you can think about that instead of what you’ve been thinking about, and start to attract that new, desirable stuff into your life. This is what Goal Setting is all about. And it’s another word for the first step in the process of implementing the Law of Attraction.
Changing what you think about can really be as easy as changing the station on the TV. Every time something comes on it that you don’t like, change the station. The Universe instantly changes then too, bringing you the physical manifestation of your new thought rather than your old one. Changing what you think about it as easy as switching TV stations. But the physical shift in your reality does not change immediately.
There is a time delay in the process of creation, which means you don’t get what you think about the instant you think it, but sometimes later. I rather like the word “attraction” because it implies a coming together rather than some instantaneous transformation. The benefit of this to you is that you have time to change what you think about, time to change what you’ve attracted/created in your life. Time to change your mind.
This means that you are not “stuck” with any state you’ve brought upon yourself. Knowing that your thoughts create your reality doesn’t damn you to face a dreaded future cursed with all the horrible things you’ve thought so far. You don’t curse yourself to any self-designated fate unless you don’t do anything to change it.
If you start thinking about what you do want in life instead of what you don’t, you’ll start to get more of what you do want and not what you don’t. To get what you want out of life, you have to be at least bold enough to put forth the request. Whether this comes forth in the form of a Wish, a Goal, a Dream, a Daydream, a Fantasy, a Desire, or a Prayer matters not, so long as it’s there.
Law of Attraction, Step 2 of 3: Receive
The Law of Attraction is the Cosmic Law governing all creation. The Law of Attraction says that we attract that which we think about. Our thoughts give rise to our reality. Knowing this, it becomes clear that we can choose to consciously create realities more suitable to our tastes, if we only make the necessary shift. Step 1 of this shift is to Ask for what you want – change what you think about from things you don’t want to things you do. Step 2, the subject of this article, is to sit back and Receive.
For some, this may be the trickiest step of all, as it requires you do nothing, and for some, nothing is the hardest thing of all to do.
We spend far too much time trying to figure out how to get what we want and not enough time getting it. We expend way too much energy working hard to chase a goal rather than having the goal. Having it come to us.
This is the message of Step 2 of the Law of Attraction – what you have asked for (in Step 1) is already on its way. It’s the nature of the Universe – inherent in the process of “asking” for anything is the manifestation of that which was “asked for”.
By thinking about something, we automatically bring it into being. By giving something the energy of our attention, we literally call it into being.
‘Ask and ye shall receive’ the timeless message holds. Ye need not worry how, nor need you do a darned thing to “make it happen”. It’s already coming. A done deal. Our every wish has been granted. The only thing we can do now is mess it up. How? For starters, by not getting out of the way.
Step 2 is taken care of as an automatically result of Step 1. It’s not your job; it’s the job of the Universe. You ask, it gives. Step 1, step 2. Simple.
The problem for so many of us in getting what we want in life is that we skip Step 1 and jump straight to Step 2. We avoid our job altogether (choosing what we want) and try to do the Universe’s job instead (working, trying, figuring out how to get it). No wonder it doesn’t work!
Our plotting, planning, working, figuring, straining, stressing, worrying, doubting, bemoaning, dreading, resenting – all get in the way of the “package”, the Universe is trying to deliver to us.
Expending a ton of energy to try and get what you’ve already asked the Universe for is a major display of distrust in the Universe. It’s like saying “I know I’ve asked you for this, but I don’t believe you’re really going to give it to me, so I’m going to go ahead and figure out how to get it myself then, thanks anyway.” What’s the Universe to say then? “Fine, go do it yourself then. And good luck with that.”
Imagine if you asked your partner to pick something up for you on the way home from work and then you went ahead and picked it up yourself anyway. How do you think your partner would feel? How inclined is your partner going to be to honor your next request without first giving you a hard time? Why should the Universe be any different?
Step 2 of the Law of Attraction requires that you trust. Trust the Universe, trust the process of creation, trust the Law of Attraction to work, and to work for you. Put your attention on the end result, the goal, the desire. You be the master visionary dictating how your creation should look and feel. Let the Universe be your workers, bringing your vision into being.
Law of Attraction, Step 3 of 3: Allow
The Universal Law that governs the process of creation is known as the Law of Attraction. According to the Law of Attraction, we create what we think about. The thoughts in our heads produce the things in our world. Knowing this, we can begin to take steps towards conscious creating a desirable reality rather than continue unconsciously creating undesirable ones. The first 2 steps of this 3 step process are to Ask for what you want and then trust that the Universe heeded your call and you’re on your way already to receiving it. In this article, we cover the critical final step, the one so many people overlook. In Step 3: Allowing, we make sure that we are present to receive what we’ve asked for when it comes.
As soon as you ask for anything, the Universe is instantly in action working to bring that to you. Whether or not you ever get it, depends on whether you are “there” to receive it. This is concept of “allowing” – the crucial final step of the Law of Attraction.
You are always given what you ask for, but do you take it? Do you allow it in? Anything the Universe offers us (or “throws at” us), we either accept it or we reject, refuse, or deny it. It’s that way with the things we don’t want, and it’s that way with the things we do want.
The opposite of allowing is resistance. The reason for so many “unanswered prayers” is resistance, which is to say: the reason we don’t get so much of what we ask for is because we resist having it.
It’s like if you have a hang-up about your appearance. Implied in that insecurity is the desire to look good, and to feel good about the way you look. Now imagine if someone gave you a compliment about your appearance, “Oh, you look great today,” and all you can say is, “No, don’t be ridiculous. Oh stop. You’re lying. Don’t poke fun.” This is a perfect dramatization of the resistance to allowing something we desire in.
Impatience is a from of resistance. Expecting a goal to be reached or a desire to be fulfilled faster than it seems to be happening is a way of not allowing it to happen in its own natural way. In noticing that your desire has still not been fulfilled yet, you’re actually that desire’s fulfillment further and further away.
Observing that you don’t have the resources you need to get what you want (i.e. “But I don’t have enough money and I have no idea where I’m going to get it”), only succeeds in perpetuating that lack of resources. You’re given just what you’ve “asked for” and “allowed” – a severe absence of funds and a corresponding absence of opportunities for producing funds. Congratulations!
Being unhappy about your current state in life and bemoaning that if only X, Y, and Z would happen already, you could finally get on with being happy is just as bad. As is feeling jealous of someone else having it first.
Omitting this all-important step of allowing cancels out the previous two steps of asking and receiving. It’s like being given a gift of something you asked for and then returning it. You’re certainly entitled to do that. Just stop complaining that you don’t have that thing you’ve been wanting.
If you choose to trust that what you have asked for – everything you have ever and will ever ask for – is on its way to you, then you can experience the joy now of its impending arrival. That’s how allowing feels – as eager anticipation of that which you know for sure is yours.
The esoteric description of it is to say that, in allowing you’re getting “in energetic alignment” with the fulfillment of your desire. In plain English what you’re doing is getting “out of the way”.
Ask and ye shall receive. Allow and ye shall have.

Do You Believe in the Law of Attraction?

December 2nd, 2009

What Everybody Ought to Know About the Law of Attraction

November 30th, 2009

As more and more people hear about the Law of Attraction, see films like The Secret, start reading the books or hear about Abraham-Hicks, a lot of confusion is generated through not really understanding how this powerful law operates or how it governs their prosperity.
So here are five basic elements to help you to understand how it affects your life:
1. The Law of Attraction is a universal law. It states that whatever you set your intentions on and focus on, will come to you. The world around you responds to your thoughts and feelings at a vibrational level . If you are thinking miserable thoughts and creating miserable feelings, you will notice more things around you to feel miserable about. Conversely, if you are thinking happy thoughts and creating happy feelings, you will notice more things around you to feel happy about.
2. The Law of Attraction is totally impartial. It works, just the same for everyone: for rich or poor, for old or young, for those who know about it and those who don’t, for those who believe in it and those who don’t. It simply responds to vibration. Knowing this is very empowering and helps you to move from wondering why some people have money and you don’t, or why some people succeed where you have failed. It’s all about their vibration and your vibration.
3. Your external world is simply a reflection of your internal thinking. What you see around you is an indication of what you believe to be so. If what you see and experience around you is not what you would like to be experiencing, then it’s important to remember that change comes from within and when you change your way of thinking, your experiences in the world will change. They have to. That’s how the Law of Attraction works.
So, I f you stop blaming external factors and start focusing on what you want to attract, you can change your experiences and start manifesting the life of your dreams.
4. When people start to intentionally work with the Law of Attraction to create whatever they want in life, they are likely to encounter what appear to be obstacles. These are actually very helpful indicators of where a person’s belief is out of alignment with what they want.
Most people have unconscious beliefs, that is beliefs that they don’t even know they hold. So if you think you want something, but aren’t getting it, you may well have unconscious beliefs, such as ‘I don’t deserve it’ or ‘Good things like that, don’t happen to people like me’ or some other belief which will block your process of attracting what you want.
Beliefs are simply habitual thoughts which you have decided are true. If you choose to, you can change your thoughts and your beliefs to support your manifesting. Abraham-Hicks say you can change your experience one better- feeling thought at a time, which makes it all very straightforward. In order to attract whatever it is that you want, you have to believe that it is possible. You don’t need to know how it might occur, but you do have to believe that it is possible.
5. Abundance is your natural state. Few people realise this as most have been so conditioned by the all-pervading limited thinking prevalent in the world today. But when you know that abundance is your natural state and believe this, then it becomes your experience and your life becomes truly amazing.
As Henry Ford said, ‘If you think you can, or you think you can’t, you’re right’. Human nature is such that many people would rather be right than be happy. Would you rather live happily in a conscious awareness of the Law of Attraction or maintain your scepticism and have your life stay as it is?
It’s your choice. If you choose to start intentionally using the Law of Attraction, your life will become great fun. The universe always responds to you. As you practice focusing on what you want and see the successful attraction you create, you automatically drop old limiting beliefs, because you don’t actually know just how much prosperity is possible for you. And you can have great fun finding out just how you can really enjoy life.

Law Of Attraction – 4 Truths To Gaining Your Greatest Desires Using Law Of Attraction

November 29th, 2009

There is no doubt that the movie ‘the secret’ did a lot to raise most peoples awareness of the law of attraction and its power. But, movies have a tendency to over simplify. This is why many people think that all you need do is wish hard enough for something and it will be yours. It’s true that you must know what you want and ask for it, but it doesn’t stop there. The law of attraction is not a lazy law, by that I mean you can’t just ask for a certain thing, sit back and wait and receive your desire. People do that every day without any knowledge of the law of attraction or how it works. The fact is their chances of realizing their dream is as good as yours, unless you do the other three steps that make the law of attraction so effective.Success does not come easy. Ask most of the successful people you know how they became a success and you will be amazed at the trials they went through to achieve their goals. They would also tell you that all through those trials they never lost faith and kept positive thoughts. Those that tell you they achieved their success using the law of attraction will tell you that there are four necessary steps they followed to make this universal law work for them. Each step is as important as the other and must be followed in order to manifest their dream. Those four steps or truths are:AskKnow what you want and ask for it.BelieveUse positive thinking to draw your desire to you, by believing it will happen.VisualizeFeel that you are in possession of your desire at this very moment, not in some distant future.ActionThis is where the law of attraction differs from wishing. You must have a plan and put that plan into action. In order to be successful using the law of attraction, you must know how it works and how to manifest your desires.

Manifesting Lesson: Is Law Of Attraction Hit Or Miss?

November 28th, 2009

The Law of Attraction is a Universal Law which means it applies to everyone all of the time.  Translated to human experience this means you are always manifesting, 24 hours a day and 7 days a week.

Did you ever hear the saying: The sun shines on the saints and sinners alike.

What this means is that the sun always there and it shines on everyone and everything equally.  It doesn’t shine more on people who are good or bad or fat or skinny or short or tall.  It doesn’t favor rich people or people in a certain country or religion.  It’s the sun and it does what the sun does – it shines.

The Universe acts in much the same way, doing what it does. Instead of shining like the sun though, the Universe acts like a mirror – reflecting back to us exactly what we send it.  It doesn’t judge or altar anything and it doesn’t care what the consequences are to you or me (just like the sun doesn’t care if you get a sunburn or not).

The thing about the Universe is that it doesn’t have an off switch.  It is constantly receiving and reflecting data back to you (and everyone else) and that data is what forms the reality you experience. Every thought, word, emotion, and experience you have adds to that data which continues to form your reality day by day and minute by minute.

This means that you are always manifesting.  In fact it is impossible to not manifest.  For instance, if you are not manifesting green lights when you want to then you are manifesting red lights.  If you are not manifesting great service at a restaurant then you are manifesting less than great service.

Understanding this is important because once you see that you are always manifesting it gives you complete power over your life experience.  Because by understanding that the Universe is a mirror, you can now change the data you’re sending out which in turn will change the reality that’s being reflected back to you.
